Ahh yes... *makes small grimace* It was back in the summer of 92' I was just a wee grom back then spending a two week break at North Morte Farm, Mortehoe, my home away from home and now my summer residence. I was spudding in the sea on Rockem bay such a fantastic bay, everything you could want, crazy shgapped rocks, golden sand at low tide tones of rock pools and the most facinating wave cut platform you have ever seen.... It looked like ripples in the sand but made from rock! So there I was laughing and splashing when I trod on somthing and felt a seering shap pain in the middle of my foot. Thinking it was just somthign sharp I carryied on playing but it began to hurt more and more so made my way back to the waters edge where I could examin the offending foot. There it was two little pin pricks glowing bright red. I jumped up and headed back to where all our things where. As I walked my foot began to numb and become quite painful, swelling had already begun and by the time I got to my parents i couldn't walk on the foot at all. All I could do was sit it out said my dad so it did but it felt worse and worse. and what made things even motre awarkward is the beach has a really steep step and path back to the campsite. There I was stuck for almost 4 hours whilst the swelling and pain whent away... I got bloody cold and the munchies really bad! but I was ok heheh Not an amasing story but perhaps somthing to get you peeps going... Anyone else ever had a Weaver Fish encounter?

Ceiriad and Aberffraw. flouring torture for an hour and then it gets better pretty fast, gave me a bloody shock tho!!!
I've heard that if you've been stung, dip your foot in as hot water as you can bear for as long as you can bear. Also be carefull at low tide on sandy beaches in late summer especially...... Apparantly their always covered in water so will never be above the high tide mark. There's yer useful info..

I managed to find one at South fistral last spring. I was just walking out before getting on my board when I thought I stepped on glass. Had a look but couldn't really see anything, so just carried on. My foot was absolutely killing the whole session, but didn't want to be all girly, so I just ignored it. by the time I got out and had to treck up towards town from South fistral I couldnt feel my foot. Anyway, someone told me about the hot water thing, apparently if you cant get your foot into really hot water your meant to pee on it! Anyway it was fine, until like two weeks later I got really bad cellulose foot and had to have anti-inflamitaries injected in my foot! Now the flouring hurt!!!
